[Dedicated to my father- most highly regarded and revered, my closest idol, inspiration and...as we realize no words can describe your father's care and affection...Sacrifices...next only to GOD, and to all those special people who want to be treated and live as 'those' with the 'Money']





Money!Money!Money!
Tell me who is not after it, my dear honey!
It has the whole world behind it, as if in a trance,
And even this 'intelligent' world also is on the run tirelessly, hoping for a chance.

The people of this world know that this 'thing' is the cause for all their grief.
But are unable to transmute their firm belief,
About its influence on their living,
On its ability to transform their very being.

It was only us who invented this 'Money'!
But it has made us its slaves!
Of course, its not Money's flaw.
Its we who have made ourselves so very hooked on it.

Man is now two million years old!!
How has he lived till now?
With money?Nooo!! Impossible!
Money's age is not even ten thousand years!!

Money has divided our society,
Widened the gap between the rich and the poor.
Is man wrong?or is money wrong?
I tell you, both are wrong!

A millionaire's kid has an expensive toy,
And a 'poor' kid desires the same, but in vain.
What is this hapless kid's fault?
Are his innocent desires far less valuable than this inanimate thing?

As we know,"too much is too bad".
And its only worse , that we have had.
Right now, Money is ruling our world.
Unfortunately, it will bring a near end to this world.


Epilogue:

Its one of my oldest feelings that has been expressed in the form of this poem.I had always realized the importance of Money in our society.At the same time, its adverse effects on our social life can never be ignored.Its more than a wonder that merely a lifeless thing invented by man has become his thoughtless friend and contrastingly, his lifelong enemy.About 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. This is one person every three and a half seconds.Has to be one of the greatest tragedies of the human society unless we believe in ourselves and work together to establish the ultimate dream of Universal equality.

What is Nature?
What includes Nature?
Humans?Certainly not!
Humans are made of the thing
Which is against Nature!

Nature created everything on this Earth.
The plants, rivers, animals and every living thing.
But except one thing,
And that's truly the humans!

Humans depend on Nature,
For their each and every egotistic motive.
They dont have any gratefulness,
But only avarice and selfishness.

The way they show their,
Gratitude is entirely apathetic.
They take aid from Nature,
And ruin it in return!

With all these scathe being done,
To the nature by these barbarous humans.
The day is not far behind,
When the Nature will awake!!

Like INDIA which awoke to,
Life and Freedom at the midnight.
But the major difference is,
It will come alive at midday!!

Till now, it had been the friendliest,
But now, it is sure to be the deadliest!!
It shall show its lethal side to this regardless world,
To destroy the uncharacteristic humans.

But before all this,
The Nature Calls us and,
Gives one more opportunity,
To save our most innocent friends.

INDEPENDENCE

The World becomes excited,

When it hears this word.

A country gets them saluted.

Thats none other then the GREATEST INDIA!!!


The greatest INDEPENDENCE of this world,

Where its citizens fought for this world.

The world remembers them forever.

The possibility of forgetting it, never!!



Gandhi fought for the Africans,

To get rights to the Negroes.

And almost all Indians fought for the Burmese.

This country has produced the greatest Heroes!!


Never happened before,

Not again to happen!!

A Freedom struggle like this;

Unbelievable and beyond imagination!!


Gandhi,Nehru,Bose,Patel, Desai

Gokhale,Tilak,Bhagat,Ambedkar.

Wow!!What great men they were!!

And now, even a single man like them can be found nowhere!


They all fought for the Freedom;

Gave us, the greatest INDEPENDENCE,

And became GOD of Gods!!

And now, not a single person to remember them, it is very odd!


Now, the independent Government,

What a role it has played!

To make INDIA enter the list of most corrupt countries!

Really the great INDIAN Martyrs should be very disgusted with them!


And now in the Celebration of this great nation's 50th year of Golden jubilee INDEPENDENCE,

What gifts can We give to Our nation of unmatched hospitality and integrity????

Casteism, corruption, terrorism, poverty, violence?

Certainly not, one who helps these evil things to burden the country is not at all an Indian!


An Indian should promote peace, co-operation, prosperity,literacy,

And play an important role in its development and economic growth.

He should be a light of great luminosity who can educate all the unlearned.

All that and much more, makes a true INDIAN of TRUE INDIA.
