Nature is a great patriot,
Always ready to protect its nation.
Too conciliatory to be distraught,
Never becoming a detractor for its determination.
In its existence as the mighty Himalayas as the roof,
Of the world and everything there at is the proof.
Upholding the nation's great dignity and pride.
And having its Superhuman chest unprecedentedly wide!
Great are the Martyrs who fought for this MOTHERLAND.
Who strove every moment of their,
IMMORTAL Lives to make ,
INDIA, the world's greatest WONDERLAND.
Great are the mountains which stand tirelessly as Zeniths of the Earth.
With their unmatched dignity and pride.
With sheer courage and immaculate strength of resistance.
Undoubtedly , a Superhuman patriot which scares to death its motherland's enemies just by its Existence!
Great are the Rivers of this Land,
Pure and sacred as the holiest of Gods,
Flowing eternally through the Heart of INDIA,
Flowing eternally throughout the Hearts of INDIANS.
Life without these 'Altruistic' beings is just impossible,
And when they go wild , it becomes terrible.
These Rivers, the LIFE-GIVERS serve as the Lifelines of this country.
Which are, yet another wonderful gift of Nature,
Which again, proves to be the greatest Patriot.
Great is the soil of this land,
Which is as Pure and fertile as Mother Earth itself.
Which has fed us till now and continues to do so,since our birth.
It can be matched by none, but itself!
The Plants, the flowers and the trees which give us our Life,
With the Purest air and fascinate our eyes with their incomparable brilliance of colours,
Which make our MOTHERLAND an EVERGREEN PARADISE,
Which are nourishing every life-form on our birthplace.
Which makes them and others the DUMB PATRIOTS of our MOTHERLAND.
Epilogue:
This poem was written as a tribute to the great martyrs of the KARGIL-1999 War who fought relentlessly until the very last moment making their nation feel so very Proud of them.The poem emphasises the importance of NATURE in every aspect of our life right from our birth to the end.Also untold is the cruel ingratitude shown by the man towards them and his ignorance shown towards it.NATURE is an asset of a NATION and has a part to play in its growth and existence.We have to be
thankful for it and be grateful by atleast making a conscious effort towards conserving it.
