Isn't it a wonder?

[Dedicated to MOTHER EARTH,the source of all that exists on this Planet and to its amazing children.Being the only known planet yet, to have and support the ever vibrant LIFE, somehow is being neglected by the human race for their own ever growing insatiable greed.
The Poem is an attempt to perceive the beauty , diversity, fascination,
innocence and altruistic nature of MOTHER EARTH.To say in short the wonderful life itself.Its in little and natural things that we can find the most genuine sense of happiness and wonder.]

Isn't it a wonder?

This beautiful world is woken up by
The rising orange sun!
With the help of the little hen!!
Isn't it a wonder?

The morning dew on the blades,
Of the grass sparkling like a pearl.
Birds rising to the skies in amazing groups,
To fetch the food for their little ones.
Isn't it a wonder?

The great arrival of the spring,
Filling a new spirit in every living thing.
The ever wonderful flowers in their full bloom,
Hypnotising the bumble-bees to suck the elixir for their perfect bee-hives.
Isn't it a wonder?

The ever great monsoon rain, as it falls on the earth,
Cleansing everyone here.
With the most pleasant fragrance of the sacred soil.
Isn't it a wonder?

As the evening drizzle starts from the sky
And the sun goes to the sleep,
Mother Nature tries to pull the arrow of LOVE and PEACE,
With the ever vibrant Rainbow.
Isn't it a wonder?

As the night falls on the Earth,
The world eagerly awaits,
The arrival of the Lord of the Night- The MOON.
Isn't it a wonder?

And the Lord's soldiers- countless in number,
Appear in their 'land'-infinite in extent
Making the little kids sing their ever favorite-
"Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are?
Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in the Sky!"
Isn't it a wonder?

As the little child refuses to eat food,
The Great Mother feeds it by showing
The beloved one of all the kids-'Chandamama'!!
Isn't it a wonder?

With all these wonders with us,
And still a lot more to be realised,
Just think, is there anything in this world which is not a wonder?
Of Course! Everything in this world is a wonder!!!

A tiny seed growing to a huge tree,
Providing shade and fruits to everyone.
The melodious song of the birds,
Which fills our mind with a new spirit of life.
The innocent smile of the little kid,
Which equals that in the glowing eyes of the calf.
The unspoken words of the majestic Lion
While it fondles the cute little cub.
The wonders are infinite,
It is we who fail to perceive them.

The wonder actually is that how can human's mind especially at this age (Santosh's age) is actually able to think of all such beautiful things where in we miss out. I again feel its not that we do not appreciate its only that we do not observe we just see, we do not listen we just hear, we do not concentrate we just think... Amazing santosh its one of the good poem again from your end. Sorry for commenting it late. U proved urself again. Just go on.

Mother Earth has always gifted her children with an eternal mama, the moon.... It is a veritable wonder this, resting in harmony with Nature and the beauty around us.... We feed on the fruits given by Mother Tree, sleep peacefully on Mother's lap, a mother for one and all.....

We can never repay for her care, we can atleast be considerate and grateful

This poem written by our santu when he was in college realy is unbelieveble..The concern for earth and the use of words mixed with imagination is realy a born trait...!
